Mother of Missing IU Student Believes Daughter is No Longer Alive

Lauren Spierer, 20, was last seen around 4:30 a.m. June 3rd, 2011 walking barefoot near the intersection of College Avenue and 11th Street in Bloomington.

NEW YORK (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The mother of missing IU student Lauren Spierer says they no longer believe their daughter is alive.

Lauren disappeared last June after a night of partying with friends.

Her father says they're trying to be realistic that their daughter would have contacted them if she could.
