TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- Federal prosecutors say Wesley "FeFe" Hammond, 42, used a contraband cellphone to operate a drug ring from his prison cell.
Hammond is serving a life sentence for running a major Terre Haute methamphetamine and cocaine ring from the New Castle state prison and now he is being charged with doing the same thing fom the state prison in Michigan City.
Hammond was one of 15 suspects arrested Tuesday and if convicted they could face life without parole.
According to U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett, Hammond has been moved to another location where he can't obtain cellphones.
