Hamden, Connecticut: Removing Upwards of 40 Inches of Snow

HAMDEN, CT. (www.incnow.tv) – Authorities throughout New England is rushing snow-removal equipment to hard hit cities.

One of those towns in need is Hamden, Connecticut. A record 40 inches of snow fell. Payloaders are being used to make a path through the center of streets and then plows are brought in to create a wider path.

Many people are stuck in their homes. The New Haven Register reported half the town’s streets were still not passable Sunday night.
