AMERICAN FORK, Utah (RTV6) -- A Barbie Jeep parked in the road blocking the driveway of Utah home found itself adorned with something new: a bright orange police citation.
Autumn, a 7-year-old girl from American Fork, Utah, told KUTV she was busy with school and friends when she left her bright pink ride outside.
A police officer patrolling the area noticed the Jeep in the street, moved it up the driveway and issued Barbie an abandoned vehicle tag.
According to police, if the jeep had been blocking someone's driveway it would have been towed. But Barbie was let off easy with no fine.
Autumn's father said he was surprised to find the ticketed Jeep, but that he can't be mad.
"Unfortunately I have received my share of tickets," he joked during an interview. "This is definitely my favorite ticket that I have received."
"We would hope that people would appreciate the fact that we're there in their neighborhood and we're looking out for them and their property," said a spokesman for the American Fork Police Department.
Autumn said the experience taught her lesson and that she and Barbie will be parking their Jeep in a better spot from now on.
