IRAQ (www.incnow.tv) - It’s been ten years since military strikes in Iraq began.

Tuesday morning a wave of bombings in Baghdad killed at least 56 people. The bombings are mostly car-bombs in Shiite areas at small restaurants and bus stops. 200 people were hurt in these bombings.

The war began in Baghdad and didn’t officially end until nine years later. During that more then 4,400 U.S. troops and 100,000 Iraqi civilian lives were lost. Veterans who returned home are still struggling to recover and find jobs.

While there are those who still support the war and say it was worth the effort, a new Gallup Poll says many Americans believe the Iraq War has been a costly mistake.
