Man Accused of Stealing Police Car, Going on Joyride

An alleged joyride in a police car resulted in a trip to jail for a Florida man.

According to a report from the Miami Herald, a 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with grand theft for allegedly stealing a patrol car from a police department parking lot and going on a joyride.

The car may have been unlocked while in the parking lot, according to the Miami Herald report. The squad car was not damaged, according to the report.
