Notorious serial killer Richard Ramirez, who was dubbed the "Night Stalker" following a string of murders in California in the mid-1980s, died Friday of natural causes, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was 53.
Ramirez, who was on death row, died Friday at a California hospital corrections officials said, according to the LA Times report.
Ramirez was convicted in 1989 of killing 13 people and sentenced to death, according to the Times.
