Man Bites Dog to Save Wife From Attack

An Iowa man bit back in order to save his wife from a dog attack last weekend while the couple was walking its own dog.

According to a report from The Des Moines Register, the man fought with the dog -- a 50-pound Labrador mix -- and bit the dog in the nose to get it to stop attacking his wife last Sunday.

The dog bit off the wife's nose in the attack, according to The Des Moines Register report. The husband was bitten on the arm in the attack, according to The Des Moines Register report.
