Man Arrested After Swinging Machete in Police Station Lobby, Authorities Say

A bizarre incident in Florida this week.

According to a report from the Fort Myers (Fla.) News-Press, police said a 20-year-old Florida man was taken into custody on Wednesday after swinging a machete at officers inside the lobby of a police department.

The man, who was subdued with a taser, is facing two counts of assault on an officer and other charges, according to the News-Press report.
