BOGOTA, Colombia (www.incnow.tv) - A Colombian company is developing bulletproof clothing for children, in light of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Miguel Caballero, Ltd., has created bulletproof clothing for 20 years; mostly used for security for dignitaries across Central America and South America.

Now Miguel Caballero's MC Kids line hopes to branch out into bulletproof vests and bookbags. Company officials showed off potential prototypes by shooting colorful bookbags with macheine guns and handguns.

Company officials say there is no name for the clothing and accessories, but the apparel has the U.S. market in mind.
