Soccer Referee in Critical Condition After Being Punched by Teen Player, Police Say

A soccer referee in critical condition after a weekend incident with a teenage player in Utah.

According to a report from The Salt Lake Tribune, police said a 46-year-old male soccer referee remains in critical condition at a Utah hospital after being punched in the face by a 17-year-old player during a game last Saturday.

The teen was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault on Monday, according to The Salt lake Tribune report.
