Man Collars Girlfriend With Dog Leash During Violent Argument, Police Say

A shocking story from Florida this week results in some serious charges being filed against a Florida man.

According to a report from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the man was arrested and charged with domestic battery, false imprisonment and other charges for allegedly tying a dog leash around his girlfriend's neck and attempting to drag her into their home during a violent argument in Delray Beach, Fla., on Tuesday.

The woman was able to break free and fled to a neighbor's house to call police, according to the Sun-Sentinel report.
