According to a report from the Fort Myers News-Press, the 41-year-old deputy of the Lee County Sheriff's Department has been arrested and charged with felony robbery without a weapon for allegedly beating and robbing a 20-year-old man while on duty Sunday.
The deputy has been suspended without pay, according to the Fort Myers News-Press report.
