According to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station Northland's NewsCenter in Duluth, Minn., police said a 23-year-old man is being held on DWI charges after being found slumped behind the wheel at a McDonald's drive-thru in Hermantown, Minn.

In a news release, Hermantown Police said they responded to the drive-thru at 6 a.m. Thursday.
A Saint Louis County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene first and made contact with the man who identified himself as “Sheriff’s Office”.
The driver told the Deputy he was okay, but appeared to be “out of it," the Deputy stated. When the Deputy asked the driver where he was coming from, the driver replied: “Sheriff’s Office”.
The driver was arrested for Gross Misdemeanor 3rd Degree DWI and was lodged at the Saint Louis County Jail.
