A food fight at a Florida high school led to the arrest of a 17-year-old student on Friday, according to a report from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
According to the Sun-Sentinel report, the teen was arrested on charges of striking a school employee and resisting arrest without violence in connection with the food fight, which involved hundreds of spectators and spilled out into the school's courtyard.
The teen who was arrested reportedly threw an object that was believed to be a water bottle. Police said the teen allegedly pushed and hit an assistant principal who tried to stop him, according to the Sun-Sentinel report.
