According to the Salem (Ore.) Statesman Journal, a 26-year-old Oregon man serving as a juror at a trial in Oregon was sent to jail after being caught texting by the judge during court proceedings earlier this week.

The judge held the man in contempt of court and ordered him to spend two days in jail, according to the Statesman Journal report.
