Man Steals $22,000 in Jewelry From Parents and Pawns It, Police Say

A strange story from Florida.

According to a news release from the Charlotte County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office, police said a 24-year-old Florida man was arrested and charged with grand theft and other charges for allegedly stealing more than $22,000 in jewelry from his parents and pawning the items while they were out of town.
