New Employee Sits Out Powerball Pool, Coworkers Win $1 Million Jackpot

She didn't take part in the office Powerball pool. ... but she's a winner anyway.

According to a report from the Miami Herald, a Florida woman who just started working at a real estate company and didn't take part in the office's Powerball jackpot pool -- and her coworkers won a $1 million prize.

The woman's 12 co-workers -- who will each take home more than $83,000 apiece -- all plan to give the woman a portion of their winnings, according to the Miami Herald report.
