Woman Sets Fire to Mattress That Ex-Boyfriend and Another Woman Were Sleeping on, Police Say

A bizarre story from Florida.

According to a news release from the Monroe County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office, a 29-year-old Florida woman was arrested this week for allegedly setting on fire a mattress on which her ex-boyfriend and another woman were sleeping on.

According to the news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office:

The woman allegedly broke into the man's apartment, forcing open the door. She allegedly went into the bedroom and found her ex-boyfriend sleeping there with another woman. As they slept, she allegedly lit the mattress on fire. When they woke up, the victims said said she just stood there, taunting them as the mattress burned.

The woman has been charged with arson and burglary, according to the news release.
