Truck Carrying Millions in Silver Overturns Along Highway (With Photos)

A truck carrying millions of dollars in silver bars slides down a New York highway embankment, according to a report from Granite Broadcasting sister station WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y.

According to the WBNG report:

It happened Monday around 7:30 a.m. near the Castle Creek exit on Interstate 81 North (exit 7) in the Town of Barker.

An Armour truck was heading to Rochester from Queens. New York State Police say the truck was carrying $10 million in silver bars.

There were three people in the truck when it went off the interstate. One was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg.

One lane of traffic was closed on Interstate 81 North for clean-up.

Another truck was coming to pick up the goods from the wrecked truck.
