Insult AND Injury: Man Robbed, Beaten With His Own Crutch

A strange story from Illinois courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station CINewsNow.com in Peoria, Ill.

According to the CINewsNow.com report:

A Peoria, Ill., man says that he was robbed Sunday afternoon while walking in the 1100 block of NE Jefferson.

The 66-year-old victim told officers that at 1:25 pm he was approached by three teens from behind. The victim said that the suspects pushed him down to the ground from behind.

One of the suspects took the victim's crutch and hit the victim with it repeatedly. Another suspect took the victim's wallet out of his back pocket.
