Teen Killed by Train While Walking to School

A tragic story from Pennsylvania, courtesy of Granite Broadcasting sister station WBNG in Binghamton, N.Y.

According to the WBNG report:

Pennsylvania State police said a teen was killed by a train while walking to school on Tuesday.

It happened around 8:15 a.m. in New Milford Township.

Troopers said 16-year-old Mahlon Christopher Mosher was walking to school on the train tracks wearing headphones and did not hear the train approaching, even as the train blew its air horn.

Police said the train couldn't stop in time and hit Mosher with its front plow, killing him.
