Woman Swims to Safety After Driving Car Into River, Police Say

A California woman is lucky to be alive after a harrowing incident early Wednesday morning, according to authorities.

According to a report from the Sacramento Bee, the 52-year-old woman swam to safety after driving her car into  river. The woman was able to escape the vehicle as it was sinking, according to the Sacramento Bee report.
