Woman Who Claimed Hate Attack Set Herself on Fire, Police Say

A bizarre story from Louisiana.

According to a report from the Shreveport (La.) Times, police said the 20-year-old Louisiana woman who claimed she has been set on fire in a racially motivated attack fabricated the story. The woman is in critical condition at a hospital with serious burns on 60 percent of her body, according to the Shreveport Times report.
