Tough to Swallow? Losing Coach Bites Off Part of Winning Coach's Ear, Police Say

According to the Hartford (Conn.) Courant, a 34-year-old Connecticut middle school assistant basketball coach was charged with assault for allegedly biting off part of the ear of an opposing coach following a game last Friday in Springfield.

The suspect, who was an assistant coach for the losing team, turned himself in to police on Monday and faces multiple charges in connection with the incident, according to the Courant report.
