WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Reports of fires have prompted an investigation into some popular Toyota vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into fires in the driver's side doors of 2007 Toyota Camrys and Solaras as well as Rav-4 Crossover SUVs.

The probe could affect more than 800,000 vehicles.

Six fires have been reported to the agency, and according to documents on its website, they appear to start in the door's power window switch.

So far, no injuries have been reported and there is no official recall issued for the time being.
