According to a news release from the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, a 53-year-old former dentist on Monday pleaded guilty to Medicaid fraud charges for inserting pieces of paper clips into the mouths of patients as a post in root canals instead of using standards stainless steel posts.
According to the news release:
The former dentist billed the Medicaid program for the costs of the posts and submitted false claims using other dentists' provider numbers. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 30.
