Police Shoot, Kill Eighth Grader With Gun at Texas Middle School

According to The Brownsville (Texas) Herald, police said they shot and killed an eighth grade student who was brandishing a gun at a Texas middle school Wednesday morning.

Police officials said the student engaged police and was shot, according to The Brownsville Herald story. The student was taken to an area hospital where he died, according to the report. No other students were injured.
