According to the USA Today story, 30-second spots -- which were sold out by Thanksgiving -- were sold for $3.5 million apiece.
There will be fewer 30-second spots, however. An NBC sports group executive said more ads of a minute or longer will air on the network's broadcast of the game, according to USA Today.
