According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the city of Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday approved a program that will provide one-way bus tickets out of town for homeless people provided they have family willing to take them in elsewhere.
Funding for the program will be provided with money confiscated from criminals through the Florida Law Enforcement Trust Fund, according to the Sun-Sentinel story.
