Universities Buying, Blocking .XXX Website Addresses

According to USA Today, a number of colleges and universities are buying and blocking .xxx website addresses, which became available to the public last week.

According to the USA Today report, ICM Registry allowed trademark holders to pay a one-time $200 blocking charge for each web address to ensure it wouldn't be used for adult content.
