FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Four Loko is being pulled from shelves at many locations in Fort Wayne, but that doesn't mean you still can't buy drinks like it.
Another drink called Juice, spelled J-o-o-s-e, is very similar to Four Loko in that it combines alcohol with caffeine.
Alcohol providers say a new drink will ultimately substitute Four Loko.
While sales have obviously plummeted for the energy drink, no drink has taken that spot yet, but there is reason to believe one will.
Operations Manager for Belmont Beverage Gary Gardner says, “Not at the moment not that I have seen yet. I'm sure there's something out there, and I know that Four Loko has been asked to reformulate their drink. Now, is it going to sell as well? My guess is no, but we'll find out.
Caffeine has found its way into alcohol for long time and it's in staples like Kaluha, but what made four so dangerous is its 12 percent alcohol content.
