ALBION, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Taking a different look at adoption. That's the aim of an inspiring photo exhibit hosted by Whistle Stop Pizza.

The goal of the Albion Heart Gallery is to showcase foster children.

"I find it pretty sad that there's a lot of kids that are out there looking for a home," said Whistle Stop Pizza Night Manager Tera Griffin.

The gallery is hosted by Indiana Department of Child Services and Hederick Partnerships.

Organizers hope families will view the gallery and be inspired to provide permanent homes for children who are currently available for adoption.

Every child's photo is paired with a detailed story card, explaining their personality, hobbies and desire to be adopted.

"I've been interested myself in becoming a foster parent and the more you read about it the more it makes you feel for those kids. There's so many that are 10, 12 years old and they're still looking somebody and a place to call home," said Griffin.

Whistle Stop Pizza is located at 112 North Orange Street in Albion, Indiana.

The display is open and free to the public until September 11.

Hours are: Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. until 10 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.
