Smartphone App Fights Terrorists; Developed by Fort Wayne Soldier

Fort Wayne, Ind (Indiana's NewsCenter)-A Fort Wayne Army Captain is finding new, creative ways to help military personnel from all branches fight terrorists in Afghanistan.

Captain Jonathan Springer recently developed a new smartphone app that will help those on the front line in Afghanistan map, plot, and photograph the Taliban hiding in the mountainous terrain.

The app is set to launch sometime in the next month or two. Captain Springer has been in touch with Indiana's NewsCenter, and even offered our viewers a sneak peak at the new app. Visit the website posted within this story to see what the app will look like and how it will work.
