OH Man Dies in Overnight Crash

LUCAS COUNTY, OH (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Toledo Patrol Police Officers are investigating a fatal car crash occurring early this morning just before 2:30 a.m.

Two vehicles collided near the center line on State Route 64 near Noward Road in Lucas County, Ohio sending both vehicles off the roadway.

Matthew Reibe, 24, of Sylvania, Ohio was driving a 2003 Honda SUV eastbound on State Route 64, while, Benjamin Costilla, 24, of Whitehouse, Ohio was driving a 2003 Jeep westbound.

Reibe was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening inuries. Costilla died at the scene.

Neither driver is believed to have been wearing seatbelts. Police say alcohol may have been a contributing factor.

The crash remains under investigation.
