New Bill May Limit Collective Bargaining For Teachers

INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - An Indiana Senate Committee has advanced a bill that would limit collective bargaining rights for teachers.

Under the proposed legislation bargaining agreement local districts and teachers unions would have to focus on wages and wage-related benefits instead of topics like working conditions.

The bill now goes before the full Senate for consideration.
