ALLEN AND HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The body of Private First Class Chad Clements will come home to Huntington on Wednesday.

Clements was killed in action last week in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb hit his Humvee.

His body will be flown in to Fort Wayne to the 122nd National Guard Base Wednesday.

From Fort Wayne there will be a procession into Huntington, taking U.S. 24 to Flaxmill Road and then to Hitzfield Street past the home Clements lived in.

The procession will be lead by three of Clements' cousins, State Troopers Matt and Nate Teusch and Huntington Police Officer Shane Jones and a neighbor, Huntington Officer Kole Hacker.

People are encouraged to line the route to show their support.

Details of a memorial service and funeral will be released by the family when finished.

Until that time, the family is asking that people leave the family alone to grieve in peace.
