FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - General Motors is expected to add a third shift to its facility in Flint but what does that signal for Fort Wayne's assembly plant?

GM officials say its too soon to tell but they won't forget those who stood by them during the tough times and who have produced high quality vehicles during those tough times.

Also announced was GM's plans to export $900 Million in vehicles and parts to China under a new two-year agreement with its joint venture, Shanghai GM.

The automakers strong growth in China and other emerging markets has been a lifeline, helping to offset slower growth in the U.S. and Europe.
