INDIANAPOLIS (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The Marion County Prosecutor says there is consideration of seeking the death penalty against a man charged with two counts of murder and arson.

Police say 22-year-old Joshwa Carlisle set his 9-month-old daughter, Juliana, on fire and smothered the girl's mother 25-year-old Tracie Shannon, before setting their apartment on fire.

According to court papers, investigators said they believe Carlisle sprayed the infant with an accelerant, likely to be lighter fluid, and then lit her on fire in her crib.
