2 Killed During Boat Accident Near Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Authorities say boater inattention may have contributed to a fatal accident Monday night on Lake Monroe just outside of Bloomington.

State conservation officers say a 51-year-old woman and her 8-year-old grandson were killed.

Investigators say a 23-foot speedboat being driven by a 19-year-old man and pulling a wake-boarder behind collided with the boat the woman was on.
