Kokomo, IND (Indiana's NewsCenter) --- 300 jobs is what they had. But 3,000 people showed up for the 268 unskilled and 32 skilled jobs at Kokom's Chrysler plant in Howard County.

Because of an uptick in production, Chrysler added a second shift.
United Auto Workers Local 685 President Rich Boruff told the Kokomo Tribune the positions are connected to the automaker's 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Chrysler added a second shift at its plant in Detroit, and that led to a second shift in Howard County.
