INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Indiana Department of Revenue announced that as of March 1, 2011 the state has reached its Energy Star Credit limit.

Indiana has had a $1 million limit on the Energy Star Heating & Cooling Equipment Credit. At this point any claims containing the credit will be denied and will have to be manually adjusted and refilled, causing a slight delay on returns.

Those taxpayers’ whose claims have been denied will be notified in writing from the state revenue agency.
