FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – More than 1,500 Hoosiers gathered downtown today for the 37th March for Life.

The protest of Planned Parenthood and the right of choice began at the Scottish Rite Auditorium where speakers including Rep. Marlin Stutzman (R), Father John Raphael of New Orleans, and Rep. Mike Pence (R) gave their pleas for abortion to be made illegal.

The march is held to commemorate the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize abortion on January 22, 1973 with the Roe v. Wade decision.

Pro-Lifers marched from the Scottish Rite to the Federal Building on Harrison Street.

Indiana’s NewsCenter could not reach Planned Parenthood for comment.
