Want to Vote in the Primary Election? You Have Until April 9th to Register

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Those wishing to vote in the Allen County primary election on Tuesday, May 8 have until the close of business on Monday, April 9, 2012, to register to vote or to submit address changes.

The Allen County Voter Registration Office will be open 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2012, to accommodate voters. Anyone with a current and valid Indiana driver's license or ID card may register online at wwvv.1indiauavoters.com until midnight Monday, April 9, 2012.

To register, one must have lived at their current address Tor 30 days prior to the election, be a citizen of the United States, be at least 18 on or before November 6, 2012, and cannot be currently imprisoned for the conviction of a crime.

The Allen County Voter Registration office is located in Suite 111 at One West Superior Street in downtown Fort Wayne. Free parking is available west of the building.
