INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Should the salaries of school superintendents be capped?

Indiana's 2011 Interim Study Committee on Education Issues will meet in Indianapolis Thursday afternoon at 1 pm to discuss superintendent pay and benefits.

The nearly 300 superintendents across the state earn salaries from less than $30,000 to more than $260,000.

The average tops $113,000. But according to our partners in news at the Journal Gazette, the superintendent of Fort Wayne Community Schools, Wendy Robinson, made far more in 2010, $195,000.
