Indiana House Democrats Remove Pat Bauer As Minority Leader

Indianapolis, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Indiana House Democrats have ousted Pat Bauer from his leadership position as House Minority Leader.

Replacing him for the interim is State Representative Linda Lawson of Hammond.

Hammond will serve as interim leader through the November 6th general election with a permanent leader to be selected afterwards.

Bauer spent four years as House Speaker and six as Minority Leader for the Democrats.
