Hoosier State Unemployment Holds Steady

Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - There's some good news out of the state's unemployment report that was released late Friday morning.

The Hoosier state's unemployment rate remained steady, at 7.9 percent.

In Ohio, it dropped 0.1, to 7.3 percent.

And nationally, the unemployment rate went up 0.1, to 8.2 percent.

In northeast Indiana, Grant County comes in at number 9, with a jobless rate of 9.5 percent.

Steuben ranks number 29, with 8.5 percent unemployment.

Noble sits at number 32, with 8.4 percent.

And Allen County is number 48 in the state, with 7.7 percent of its residents out of work.
