Huntington, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - In less than six months, a new Governor will be elected in the Hoosier State as Mitch Daniels finishes out his second term in office.

Governor Daniels was at the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington County Wednesday afternoon as part of Mitch's Kids, an educational program the Governor helped create back in 2005 as a way to improve students' reading and math scores.

He toured The Boys and Girls Club and helped celebrate the Huntington County Organization's local impact after it was recently named the best overall Boys and Girls Club Program in the country.

It's one of many things on the Governor's plate, Indiana's NewsCenter's Megan Trent asked the Governor his thoughts on several topics.
