BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Police believe a teen dubbed "the Barefoot Bandit" stole a plane from an airport in Bloomington last weekend.

The plane was found crashed in the Bahamas on Sunday.

A stolen car near the theft scene may be linked to 19-year-old suspect Colton Harris-Moore of Washington.

He's accused of committing several thefts nationwide, many of them while not wearing footwear, earning him the nickname "the Barefoot Bandit."
