New Grocery Opens On South Side

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A new business is opening in the space of a former restaurant on Fort Wayne’s south side.

“Chuck and Birds” is a new market, bistro and grocery delivery service in the former Hartley's restaurant space on Fairfield Avenue.

It offers certified organic produce and local meats, dairy, eggs and baked goods.

Chuck and Birds also delivers your groceries, free, with a $25 purchase in addition to its online shopping.

Its bistro is expected to open next week.
